BigTimeBingo offers a variety of bingo game patterns. Typical categories include hourly coveralls or blackouts (these generally yield the largest jackpots), the always popular anyline, six pack, & four pack patterns, crazy patterns (a pattern that has more than one possible winning position on a bingo card) such as crazy kite, crazy mini-t, and crazy pyramid patterns, and static patterns (such as coffee mug). Bingo game patterns can follow nature motifs including plants (flower pattern, or palm tree pattern), animals (fox pattern, or butterfly pattern) or Letter motifs, and special patterns are sometimes created to match one of our exciting monthly bingo promotions.

Bingo games are played inside the bingo interface available via download or by logging in to the website. Once a game begins, you will note that there are 75 possible BINGO numbers: B1 - B15, I16 - I30, N31 - N45, G46 - G 60 and O61 - O75. Each of these numbers is represented by a ball in a rotating bin. Each ball is painted with its unique BINGO number. An announcer announces the selected ball to the room. Each player checks all of their cards to see if that number appears on their card. If it is, they mark it (or it's automatically daubed if 'auto daub' is selected). When a player matches the bingo game patterns being played, they have a BINGO! He or she calls BINGO! by clicking the bingo button.

If the player is indeed a winner, the game stops, the jackpot is automatically awarded and a new game begins. If the card wasn't a winner, the game proceeds where it left off. Each BINGO game proceeds until someone wins (there's always a winner). Every BINGO game has a winning card, so a player's chances of winning depend on the number of cards in the game and how many cards s/he is playing. For example, if a player has 12 cards in a game with 1200 cards, the chances of winning for that player is 1 in 100.
